
Sour Cream Cake
Description
Sour cream cake is a simple yet very delicious treat, perfect for everyday tea time. If desired, you can decorate the cake with grated chocolate, fresh berries and fruits, whipped cream, condensed milk, or marshmallows—each time it will look different and have a unique taste.

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the baking pan with oil or line it with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

2. In another bowl, beat the room-temperature butter with sugar; after a couple of minutes, add the eggs, vanilla sugar, and orange zest. Beat until creamy.

3. Add the sour cream and beat until smooth.

4. Then add the almonds ground in a coffee grinder, set aside the mixer, and stir with a spatula or wooden spoon.

5. Add the mixture of flour with salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix well.

6. In a small bowl, gently mix the cranberries with sugar. If using other sweet berries, sugar will not be needed.
