Homemade baked goods for tea. Do you absolutely love baking? Tired of the usual pancakes, fritters, charlotka, and cabbage-filled buns? And what about cherries—do you like them? If you answered yes to all these questions, I recommend finding out right now. Can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions

Step 1

Melt the softened butter and mix it with powdered sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk. Gradually incorporate the flour sifted with baking powder. Knead the dough and roll it out into a 5 mm thick sheet.
- 2
Step 2

Transfer the dough to a baking pan. Prick it with a fork and place in the freezer for about 10 minutes. Bake until not quite fully done, in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Now let's prepare the filling. In a bowl, use a whisk to mix the eggs, sugar (powdered sugar), and sour cream.
- 4
Step 4

Now add the starch. Mix everything again. The starch will act as a binder and thickener.
- 5
Step 5

Place the cherries neatly on the slightly baked crust. Pour over the filling (also carefully and evenly distribute it).
- 6
Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven at 160-170°C for 35-45 minutes. Once you see that the filling and the custard have set, the pie is ready.
