Step 1

1. Chill the sour cream in the refrigerator. Sift the flour, add baking soda, and mix thoroughly. Take a deep bowl, place the chilled sour cream in it, add granulated sugar, and beat using any method.

Step 2

2. Slowly add a couple of cups of flour previously mixed with baking soda. Knead the dough. If it turns out not thick enough, add more flour.

Step 3

3. Divide the dough in half. Roll out both pieces into half-centimeter-thick layers. To prevent the dough from sticking, use parchment paper.
- 4
Step 4

4. Using a glass, cut out circles by diameter. Turn on the oven to preheat.

Step 5

5. Line the baking tray with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Place two circles of dough on top of each other and put the baking form into the oven on the middle rack.

Step 6

6. Bake at 200-210°C (390-410°F) for 10-15 minutes, until the flatbreads are golden brown. Remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them cool. If desired, slice the finished sour cream flatbreads in half, add a layer of jam, and top with melted chocolate.
