Cinnamon rolls with currants
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. Very tasty and easy. For making these pastries, it's convenient to use ready-made dough. Roll it out and cut into squares. Brush the center of each square with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar, and place a small amount of the mixture of currants with starch, cinnamon, and half a teaspoon of sugar on one half. Fold the square in half, enclosing the currant filling inside, and press the edges to seal. Brush the top with egg, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes. Let the pastries cool, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve with tea or coffee.
