Description

Delicious pastries for the whole family. My son adores condensed milk in any form and is ready to eat it at any time of the day. Pastries with condensed milk hold a special place in his heart. Before, he used to buy ready-made turnovers at the store, but when pre-made puff pastry became available, we started baking condensed milk turnovers at home. It's very affordable, tasty, and quick. I'll show you how to make condensed milk turnovers using ready-made dough. It's very simple, and even those who have never baked anything before will succeed. With the help of this photo recipe, you'll easily manage the process and have delicious sweet pastries on your table. Before baking, you can brush the turnovers with egg and sprinkle with sugar, but it's not necessary—baked turnovers will be golden anyway, and the condensed milk provides enough sweetness. If the pastries seem not sweet enough, you can dust them with powdered sugar after baking. If desired, you can make the edges more attractive using a fork or a decorative knife. Good luck! Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Lightly flour the surface of the table where you will roll out the dough. Place the dough on it to thaw.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Roll out the dough slightly. Don't overdo it—the dough shouldn't be too thin.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Cut the dough into rectangles or squares and place the filling. I don't recommend putting too much filling—it may leak out during baking.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Now shape the pastries. You can make them rectangular, like in my photo, or triangular, or fold them into little envelopes. The most important thing is to seal the edges well.

    Step 5

    Step 5

Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly dusted with flour. The pastries bake quite quickly—about 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
