Pastries with egg, ham, and cheese
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. Unlike the usual recipe where all ingredients are hidden inside, the filling of these pastries is visible right away. I don't boil the chicken eggs beforehand; instead, I crack them in whole and then bake them in the oven. The egg inside remains slightly runny, making these pastries juicy. The listed ingredients yield 2 portions of delicious pastries. Serve with tea or coffee.

4. By this time, the free edges will have risen and formed a basket shape. I take the pastries out and crack a chicken egg into each one, season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Then I return them to the oven for 5-7 minutes.
