Puff pastries with apple and raisins
Description
This recipe won’t take much time. For it I use yeast-free dough. We’ll bake the pastries in the oven—they’ll turn out very tasty and fragrant. If you like, you can add a little cinnamon or vanilla sugar for a brighter aroma. Serve the pastries with tea or a glass of milk, a cup of coffee—whatever you prefer.

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.

Step 2

Core the apples, then cut them into cubes or small wedges.

Step 3

Transfer the apples to a frying pan and heat through; add a little water — 50 ml — and simmer the apples for 5–6 minutes. If your apples are not sweet, add sugar.

Thaw and roll out the dough, cut into rectangles. On one half of the dough, spread a tablespoon of apples and raisins. On the other half of the dough, make cuts.

Step 5

Seal the filling with the second piece of dough, and crimp the edges with a fork.

Step 6

Transfer the pastries to a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the pastries for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
- 7
Step 7

Take the finished pastries out of the oven and serve at the table.

Step 8

The baked goods are ready. Serve with tea.
