
Cheesecake and cherry pastries
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I always try to keep 1-2 packages of ready-made puff pastry in the fridge—it's so convenient. You can quickly prepare any pastry when needed. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of cinnamon.

2. Cut the puff pastry into 8 rectangles and place 1 tablespoon of the prepared cottage cheese filling near the edge of each.

3. Remove the stems from the cherries, wash them, remove the pits, and place 3 berries on top of the cottage cheese filling.

4. Cover the filling with the free edge of the rectangle.

5. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and seal the edges with the tines of a fork. Brush the surface of the buns with a mixture of water and sugar.

6. Bake the pastries until golden brown, about 15 minutes, in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
