Mushroom pastries

Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. I usually bake mushroom turnovers in the fall—peak mushroom season. They're so delicious: freshly picked sautéed mushrooms wrapped in light, crispy puff pastry. These turnovers are especially good with evening tea. Preparation requires almost no effort, they cook quickly, and I always keep puff pastry in the freezer. I'll tell you how. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.
