Puff pastries made from puff pastry with chicken and mushrooms
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. In the puff pastry with chicken and mushrooms I use boiled fillet and fried button mushrooms. But if you wish you can always experiment with the filling. I recommend definitely adding a little sour cream, then the pastries will be juicier. They are good warm, cold, at home and outdoors. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

First, you need to thaw the dough (I use store‑bought). Rinse the fillet and boil it in salted water.

Peel and finely chop the onion, place it in a pan with vegetable oil, and sauté until translucent.

Step 3

Wash, dry, and chop the mushrooms. Add to the onion. Fry over medium heat, stirring, for 5–7 minutes.

Step 4

Let the boiled breast cool slightly, cut it into cubes, and place it in the pan.

Step 5

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6

Add sour cream.

Place the puff pastry on the work surface. Roll it out a bit, cut into squares. Make small incisions as shown.

Place the filling on one half, roll it up, and seal the edges.

Brush the puff pastry with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Transfer to an oven preheated to 190 °C.
