
Cheese-filled pastry from puff pastry

Sift the cottage cheese through a sieve if you are using homemade. Store-bought cottage cheese sold in blocks does not need to be sifted, as it already has a paste-like consistency.

Take a raw chicken egg and separate the yolk from the white. Add the yolk to the cottage cheese, and discard the white. Add sugar to taste to the cottage cheese with the yolk, and thoroughly mix the filling.

Thaw the sheets of dough. Roll them out on a work surface previously dusted with flour. Then divide the dough into equal-sized squares. Place a spoonful of cottage cheese filling in the center of each square.
