
Layered strudel with apples

The recipe won't take much time. This delicious, tender pastry with the aroma of apple and cinnamon is absolutely wonderful! Apple strudel is a frequent guest at our table. Both children and adults happily enjoy it. Any unexpected guests will surely appreciate this pie too. Serve it warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice, ground nuts, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, raisins, and semolina.

Roll out the dough and place the apple filling on it in an even layer. Leave the edges untouched, making a 1 cm border. Then roll the dough with the filling into a log and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Bake the strudel at 200 degrees. After baking, sprinkle the strudel with powdered sugar. Garnish with mint leaves when serving.
