Layered pie with cheese and sausage
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I usually have this pie for afternoon snack. It's filling and delicious, yet not heavy. My husband also loves this layered pie with cheese and sausage—he can eat the whole thing in one evening :) If you'd like, you can replace the black pepper with any other spice according to your taste. Let me tell you the recipe for the layered cheese and sausage pie in more detail.
Instructions

Step 1

Place the frozen puff pastry sheets on the table; there's no need to thaw them specially—just let them sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes. Then spread mustard on one sheet (this will be the base). I used coarse-grain mustard, as seen in the photo.

Step 2

Then place the salami on the mustard.

Step 3

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it over the salami. Season the cheese with pepper to taste.

Step 4

Cover the pie with the second sheet of puff pastry. Cut small slits to allow hot air to escape. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
