
Puff pastry pie with meat and mushrooms
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. This pastry will be enjoyed not only by the household but also by guests. The pie can be served on its own or as an addition to hot dishes. Prepare all the ingredients.

Sauté the diced onion until soft. Add mushrooms cut into roughly the same-sized cubes and cook until the liquid evaporates. Then add any ground meat, salt to taste, and your favorite spices. Breaking up the meat clumps with a spatula, cook everything together for about 2–3 minutes. If there is a lot of liquid, cook until all the water has evaporated. The filling is ready.

Dust the work surface with flour, place the thawed sheet of dough on it, and cut it lengthwise into three parts as shown in the photo.

Roll out each strip of dough into narrow long ribbons 10 cm wide. Place the mushroom meat filling in the middle of each long ribbon.

Pinch the dough along the entire length and edges, then roll it up into a snail-shaped spiral.

Grease the pan with vegetable oil and arrange the dough rolls in it in a circle.

Brush the dough with egg yolk, and bake the pie in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25–30 minutes.
