
Layered pie with cabbage and egg
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This is a very simple layered pie with cabbage and eggs, easy enough to recreate in your kitchen even for a cooking beginner. If desired, you can add tomato sauce, aromatic spices, and dried herbs to the filling. This pie is perfect for a picnic or a snack at work, for example.

1. First, boil 4 eggs hard. Finely shred the cabbage (to save time, you can chop it in a blender). Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or saucepan and sauté the cabbage until soft, about 10 minutes. At the end, add butter.

2. Cool the cooked eggs, peel and chop them (dice or grate on a grater). You can also add fresh herbs to the recipe for the layered pie with cabbage and eggs.

3. Combine the cabbage with the egg, salt and pepper to taste, and mix thoroughly. Roll out one sheet of dough and place it on a baking tray. Spread the filling in an even layer.

4. Roll out the second piece of dough and place it on top. Seal the edges, and make small cuts on the surface to allow steam to escape. Beat the remaining 1 egg in a small bowl and brush it over the dough. Sprinkle with a pinch of sesame seeds and place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.

5. Bake the cabbage and egg layered pie at around 190 degrees for about 20 minutes. Once the top turns golden brown, it's ready to be taken out and served.
