Layered mushroom pie
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Here is a classic recipe for a layered mushroom pie. I used store-bought dough, so be sure to thaw it beforehand. You can use any mushrooms, but it's easiest to work with button mushrooms. The potatoes can be boiled, or thinly sliced (as I did) and baked right in the pie. Good luck! The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sauté the cooked mushrooms with onions in vegetable oil.
- 2
Step 2

Roll out the dough into a sheet and cut it in half. Place one half onto a greased baking tray.

Step 3

Thinly slice the potatoes and layer them over the dough (the one on the baking sheet). Spread the potato layer with sour cream, then place half of the mushrooms with onions on top, followed by another layer of potatoes, sour cream, and the remaining mushrooms. Cover the pie with the second piece of dough, sealing the edges.

Step 4

The pie is baked in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
