
Puff pastry tongues with beer
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Beer puff pastry tongues are very easy and quick to make. Knead the dough and chill it. After an hour it will start to laminate like real puff pastry. Crisp, flaky tongues pair well with tea, coffee, fruit compote, or milk. The amounts listed yield 9–10 tongues. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the ingredients for cooking beef tongues.

Add flour and a pinch of salt to a bowl.

Grate cold butter and add it to the flour.

Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture has the consistency of crumbs.

Pour in chilled beer.

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands and refrigerate it for one hour.

After that, take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out into a sheet 3–4 mm thick. Brush the dough with water and sprinkle with sugar.

Cut the dough into strips. Arrange on a baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 185–190°C.
