
Puff pastry turnovers with ricotta and spinach
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. You can use fresh or frozen spinach. Fresh spinach is best wilted for a few minutes in a pan beforehand. Ricotta cheese pairs wonderfully with spinach in flavor. Ready-made puff pastry greatly simplifies the whole preparation process. Serve the pastries with tea or a cup of coffee. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the ingredients.

Combine the wilted spinach with the ricotta and blend with an immersion blender; add salt and pepper to taste.

Roll out the puff pastry slightly and cut it into rectangles. Visually divide half of each piece in half; make cuts on one half as shown in the photo.
