Layered pastries for breakfast
Description
Delicious pastries for the whole family. It's best to start the day with something tasty and sweet to lift your mood and that of your loved ones. Layered buns for breakfast are a perfect choice, especially delicious when served with hot chocolate or a milkshake. As a garnish, you can use any fruits or berries, for example, add pear, plum, or apricots. The slightly salty cheese adds a special touch to these pastries, so be sure to use it when preparing the cream. Serve with tea or coffee.

Step 1

1. Remove the puff pastry from the packaging and lightly roll it out with a rolling pin. Then cut out circles using a glass—these will be our buns. On each circle, press another smaller circle using a glass with a smaller diameter.

Step 2

2. Prepare the cream: thoroughly mix the cream cheese with sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla. Spread the cream with a spoon into the center of each pastry.

Step 3

3. Next, cut the fruits and berries into small pieces and use them to decorate the buns (I used nectarine, strawberry, and cherry). Brush the edges of the buns with slightly beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar to form a crispy crust.

4. Bake the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
