Description
Homemade baked treats for tea. My neighbor often treated me to cheese straws when we used to enjoy beer together. These are perfect as snacks. The straws bake quickly, so I always keep puff pastry in the freezer for unexpected guests. Sorry for this little digression, but cheese straws are real lifesavers for me :) I hope you'll enjoy this recipe too. Good luck! Serve cooled down or slightly warm.

Add egg to the milk.

Beat the egg.

Roll out the dough into wide strips and brush with egg.

Sprinkle the dough with spices and cheese.

Cut the strip into smaller strips.

Take strips from both sides and fold twice. Bake for 15 minutes at 220 degrees.

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
