
Layered onion flatbreads in a frying pan
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. These flatbreads have a flaky layered dough and a generous filling of fried onion. Be sure to make these tasty onion flatbreads in a skillet. The bake is ready. Serve at the table.

Prepare all the ingredients right away.

Sift all the flour into a bowl, pour in water and vegetable oil, add salt.

Knead a soft, elastic dough that does not stick to your hands.

Slice the peeled onion into thin half-rings.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onion, and fry over medium heat until softened, stirring constantly with a spatula.

Dust the work surface with flour. Roll out half of the dough into a thin sheet.

Spread half of the fried onions evenly over this layer of dough.

Roll the dough into a log and coil it into a spiral.

Roll this spiral out with a rolling pin into a thin flatbread.

In a skillet, heat 1–2 tbsp vegetable oil, add the flatbread, and fry on both sides until golden brown. Make the second flatbread the same way from the remaining dough and the fried onions.
