Puff pastry with jam

Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. Here's a simple version. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry into 0.5 cm thick circles. Cut out round pastry rounds. Place a prune in the center of each round, then shape into a star (as shown in the photo).

Fold the edges of the dough toward the center. Brush the dough with egg.

Fry the croissants in hot oil until golden brown.

Place the pastries on a paper towel to drain off all the liquid. Put your favorite jam in the center.
