Non-yeast layered dough cooked in a pan

Description

The recipe won't take much time. I usually bake puff pastry dishes in the oven, but this time I decided to experiment and make the buns on a skillet. They turn out just as tasty and golden as in the oven. I used a filling made of cottage cheese and ground pepper. These buns are great as a snack instead of sandwiches. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    4. Take the puff pastry out of the package, thaw for 40 minutes, place on the table, and cut into squares.

    5. I flatten each square in my hands, then place the previously prepared filling in the center, pinch the edges together, and prick the dumplings all over with a fork so they don't puff up too much during frying.

    6. Place the pan on the stove, pour in sunflower oil and heat. Place the dough onto the heated surface and fry on both sides until golden brown.
