Layered cake made with lavash
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If you don't want to bother with dough, simply buy lavash and you'll be able to make a quick and tasty pie. To make a layered pie using lavash, you'll need thin, soft lavash—make sure it's not brittle, otherwise it won't work. For the filling, I used a jar of canned mushrooms, a tomato, and some boiled chicken (leftover from making soup; you can skip these if you prefer). Next, follow the steps below. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

It's better to sauté the pie filling: finely chop the onion and fry it with canned mushrooms (I do this directly in the multicooker, using the "Baking" setting for about 10 minutes).
- 2
Step 2

Then add boiled chicken meat and chopped tomato to the mushrooms. Mix everything.
- 3
Step 3

Set the prepared filling aside to cool. Make the mixture for the pie filling: mix the kefir with the eggs.
- 4
Step 4

Add the grated cheese. Mix well.
- 5
Step 5

Place two sheets of lavash in a cross shape on the bottom of the multicooker. The edges should hang down freely.
- 6
Step 6

Pour one-third (or half) of the egg-kefir mixture as the first layer over the lavash.
- 7
Step 7

On top - mushroom filling.
- 8
Step 8

Cover the first layer of the pie with the inner sheets of lavash, the shorter ones.
- 9
Step 9

Then, on top, place the remaining dressing and filling.
- 10
Step 10

And tightly "wrap" it with the remaining lavash leaves.
- 11
Step 11

I recommend greasing the top of the pie with sour cream to prevent it from drying out. Close the multicooker lid and set it to the "Baking" mode for 30-40 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

The finished layered cake made of lavash acquires a golden-brown hue.
- 13
Step 13

By the way, the pie is good both hot and cold. You can serve it with sour cream.
