Layered chicken samosa
Description
Delicious pastry for the whole family. Serve samsa with fresh herbs. Before serving, you can sprinkle with white or black sesame seeds. If you don't want the filling to be spicy, do not add too much pepper to the meat. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, cut the chicken into small cubes. Finely chop the onion. Place the chicken and onion into a large bowl, add cumin and pepper. Pour in soy sauce and mix thoroughly. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into equal squares (approximately 10 cm by 10 cm).
- 3
Step 3

In a separate small bowl, beat the egg.
- 4
Step 4

Using a spoon, place the filling onto the dough squares (in the center).
- 5
Step 5

Fold the corners of the dough toward the center and press them tightly together. Make sure to seal the edges well so that the samsa does not open during baking.
- 6
Step 6

Brush the samsa with egg using a brush, place it on a baking sheet, and put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. After that, take it out and serve.
