
Plum cake
Description
You can experiment with similar recipes. Change the cream and fillings, and use different fruits. I've described it for you. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

Wash the plums, cut them into large pieces, and remove the pits. Place the fruit in a saucepan with water and sugar. Cook the plums for a couple of minutes. Set aside to cool.

Make the dough. Beat the eggs. Then add sour cream, sifted flour, cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and cloves. Mix the dough. Pour it into a greased baking pan. Bake the sponge cake for 50 minutes at 180 degrees.

Once the cake layers have cooled, cut them in half horizontally. Meanwhile, prepare the mousse. Puree the banana and mix in the lemon juice. Separately, beat the egg yolks and the egg whites in another bowl. In a saucepan, combine the zest with sugar, nutmeg, milk, salt, and starch. Cook the mixture until it thickens.

Then add the yolks to the milk mixture. Add butter, vanillin, bananas, and egg whites. Place the pot with the future soufflé into a larger pot with water. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Spread the soufflé over the cake layers.

Place plums on one layer. Cover with the second cake layer. Dust the cake with powdered sugar. Leave it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
