Plum pie (open)

Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. The distinctive feature of upside-down cakes is that the filling needs to be pre-cooked—in this case, simmered in a sweet syrup. This process makes the apples and plums softer and sweeter. Moreover, the sugar-honey syrup slightly caramelizes the fruits, helping them retain their color and shape after baking. The "Brise" dough rises slightly in the oven and develops a flaky texture, making it an ideal choice for an upside-down cake. So take a look—you can serve it with tea or coffee.
