Plum jam in a multicooker
Description
When boiling plums with sugar in a multicooker, do not stir them so the halves stay intact. Making jam in a multicooker works the same way as the traditional stovetop method. There are many ways to preserve plums, and the more times you boil the mixture, the thicker it gets. The preserve is ready to store for winter.

Step 1

1. This plum jam in a multicooker is made the same way as usual, only not on the stove. Thanks to the multicooker, making jam is now easier and faster.
- 2
Step 2

2. Plums need to be carefully prepared: wash them under running water, remove any spoiled ones, and cut them in half.
- 3
Step 3

3. Place pitted plums in the multicooker bowl, sprinkle with sugar, and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4

4. While the fruit is cooking, I set up a special mold and sterilize the jars. It's convenient — 2 in 1.
- 5
Step 5

5. After that, I let the jam rest for a while (about an hour) and cook it again on the "Soup" setting. When the appliance finishes cooking, I pour the hot jam into jars and seal them.

Step 6

6. This is the beautiful plum jam you get when making it in a multicooker at home. If you want it to be thick, simmer it for several days, 10 minutes at a time, with 10–12 hours between sessions.
