Creamy cheese sauce

Description

Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. To enhance the flavor of this cheese sauce, I only need spices such as cumin, cayenne pepper, and nutmeg. You can add pepper and salt (which I don't use), as well as, for example, paprika, turmeric, and other spices. You can also add chopped herbs, which go perfectly with cheese.

    In a deep skillet, melt the butter. Immediately start gradually adding the flour, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Gradually pour in the cream and mix thoroughly with a whisk, then add all the spices.

    Grate both types of cheese (you can also use just one). When the sauce begins to boil, add the cheese, reduce the heat to minimum, and stir the sauce until the cheese is completely melted.

    The sauce should be served with the main dish immediately, while it's hot. In this case, I'm using it for baked potato in its skin.
