Description

I offer you an excellent treat that both adults and children will love. Creamy cottage cheese mousse takes less than an hour to prepare and about an hour to set. You can use any berries or fruits you like. Cottage cheese goes perfectly with peaches, bananas, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, lingonberries, and so on.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    1. You can use cottage cheese of any fat content for this mousse, but I recommend 0% or at most 5%, since sour cream is added to it, making the mousse quite rich.

    2. Add sour cream (20% fat content), start mixing the mousse.

    3. Add the powdered sugar and mix the mass with a blender. If desired, you can add a little vanilla sugar.

    4. Add fruits, berries, and nuts according to your taste. I decided to use roasted peanuts, which I crushed.

    5. Add it to our cottage cheese mixture and mix everything well.

    6. Now you need to blend the berries/fruit. I used frozen lingonberries. I blended them with powdered sugar in a blender until smooth.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    7. Now layer the cottage cheese mixture into the glass, then drizzle with berry sauce, then add more cottage cheese mixture, and again drizzle with berry sauce. Continue layering this way until you reach the top of the glass.

    8. It turns out beautifully like this. Sprinkle the remaining nuts on top, then place the creamy cottage cheese mousse into the refrigerator to let it set slightly. After about an hour, the creamy cottage cheese mousse is ready to be served. For children, it's better to serve it right after preparation, not straight from the refrigerator.
