
Creamy Chocolate Caramel
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Creamy chocolate caramel candies made with cream, condensed milk, cocoa, and ground walnuts will be the embodiment of a hostess's refined taste if you prepare this dessert for your guests and loved ones. Serve chilled.

1. Mix the cream and milk in a double boiler. Boil the water until the mixture warms up, then reduce the heat to the lowest setting.

2. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Boil for 1 minute, then reduce the heat.

3. Slowly add the cream mixture, half a cup at a time, stirring for 5 minutes after each addition, until the sugar turns brown. Add the grated cocoa. Heat the mixture to 117°C (242°F).

4. Remove from heat. Add and stir in walnuts and vanilla. Pour into a greased 13x9x2-inch pan and let cool before cutting.

5. Store in a dry and cool place. Wrapped in cellophane, these candies can last up to 2 weeks, although you won't manage to keep them for even a couple of days – they turn out so delicious.
