
Creamy mushroom sauce for meat

Recipe for homemade sauce. I love eating mushroom sauce with beef—it has an incredible flavor. This dish pairs perfectly with a potato side dish. In fact, you can eat anything with this sauce! Highly recommended. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

Step 1

We wash the chanterelles and finely chop them on a cutting board. We do the same with the onion, peeled from its skin. If the mushrooms were frozen, we thaw them in advance so that the liquid can drain off.

Sauté the chopped ingredients in a frying pan. Once the mixture turns golden, add heavy cream. Season with salt and add spices to taste.

Then add the flour. Let the mixture sauté slightly until the sauce thickens. Once it comes to a boil, remove from heat. Serve hot with meat!
