
Creamy grits with chili
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The grain has an unusual savory, creamy flavor. It goes well with juicy steak or beef ribs. Serve hot.

1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Grease a baking dish with butter and set aside. Grate the Monterey Jack cheese and cut the cream cheese into small cubes. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat, add salt. Add the grain and stir, then reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

2. Add tomatoes with chili, green chili, grated cheese, and cubes of cream cheese.

3. Add cayenne pepper, paprika, and black pepper. Add salt if necessary.

4. Beat the egg and add it to the grain, stirring constantly. Pour the grain into a baking dish greased with butter and bake in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes, until a golden crust forms on top. Let it stand for about 15 minutes before serving. Remove from the dish and serve the grain with beef.
