Butter sausage
Description
You can make this sweet sausage using any cookies or wafers as a base, for example. Additionally, you can replace the sugar in the recipe with condensed milk. For those who enjoy experimenting, I recommend trying different add-ins: nuts, dried fruits, or candied fruits, for instance. See for yourself,
Instructions

Step 1

1. First of all, melt the butter with sugar. For flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla, for example. Do not bring the butter to a boil!
- 2
Step 2

2. Meanwhile, crush the cookies. But not into crumbs—keep them in pieces. It's very convenient to do this by hand (if the cookies are soft) or with a rolling pin, placing the cookies in a bag first.
- 3
Step 3

3. The butter should melt completely to make the mixture perfectly smooth. Add a pinch of salt.
- 4
Step 4

4. Add milk and cocoa to the butter.
- 5
Step 5

5. Whisk thoroughly until smooth.
- 6
Step 6

6. And mix with the cookie crumbs.
- 7
Step 7

7. Mix everything thoroughly. You'll get a mass that easily holds together and can be easily shaped by hand.
- 8
Step 8

8. Prepare a sheet of foil or parchment paper. Place small portions of the mixture onto it, shaping them into sausages.
- 9
Step 9

9. Roll tightly and refrigerate for 1.5–2 hours, until the mixture sets firmly. Before serving, carefully remove the paper and slice the sausage into portion-sized pieces.
