Sweet Lavash Cake
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. When it becomes soaked, this cake very much resembles “Napoleon”. Indeed, there is very little work with such a cake; you only need to make the cream and toast the lavash. I prefer small, high cakes in diameter, but you can also make it lower; it’s up to you. Try making such a lavash cake. By the way, you can also experiment with the cream—make a sour‑cream cream; I think it will also soak well and be tasty. It can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

We immediately begin by preparing the pastry cream. Mix the eggs with sugar and flour, stirring until smooth.
- 3
Step 3

Thanks to this method, you will never have lumps in the cream. Now pour in the milk and stir well.
- 4
Step 4

Place the mixture over low heat and, stirring constantly, bring it to a boil. Cook until thickened. At the end, add a small piece of butter and stir. The cream is ready; let it cool.
- 5
Step 5

Let's make the crusts. From each lavash sheet cut out 2-3 circles. It's very convenient to cut by tracing a plate of the appropriate size. I chose a circle diameter of 20 cm, and I ended up with about 15 sheets.
- 6
Step 6

Each leaf should be lightly dried in a dry pan.
- 7
Step 7

Now assemble the cake. Spread custard cream on each lavash sheet.
- 8
Step 8

Our cake turned out this tall.
- 9
Step 9

For decorating the cake, you can use crumbled pastry, or you can also dry the leftover lavash in a pan and crush it.
- 10
Step 10

Decorate the cake as you wish and let it soak for at least 1–2 hours. It's better to leave it for about 4 hours, then it will cut easily and won't fall apart.
- 11
Step 11

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
