Homemade sauce recipe. This excellent winter sauce is made from tomato juice with the addition of onion, parsley, spices, and starch. Natural ingredients are a top priority! You can serve the finished sauce with meat, fish, or any side dish, such as spaghetti. Serve the sauce with meat or fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

    Rinse the tomatoes, cut them into wedges, and process through a juicer — this will be the base for the sauce.

    Cut the onion into cubes, fry in a pan with vegetable oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.

    Pour a little tomato juice into the blender, add the fried onion and washed parsley.

    Pour the starch into the sauce in a thin stream, mix everything well, and cook the sauce for another 10–15 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly. At the end, add 9% vinegar, cook the sauce for another 5 minutes, and it's ready.

    Pour the hot sauce into clean sterilized jars and seal with lids. Store the sauce in a cool place or pantry until winter. Yield: 1 jar with a volume of 450-500 grams.
