Sweet sauce for meat
Description
Minimal ingredients — excellent result. There are numerous sauces for meat to suit every taste, and here is one of them. Ready-made sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

Step 1

1. Cranberries are available in any supermarket, so making a sauce from them is easy. This cranberry sauce is perfect with veal or duck. I always make it when I want to treat my family and impress guests.

Step 2

2. Use berries depending on the amount of sauce desired. For example, 300 g of cranberries yields about 250 g of sauce. Pour the berries into a saucepan or skillet, add water to just cover the surface. Bring to a boil and cook until the berries break down.

Step 3

3. Add sugar to taste. I recommend not making the sauce too sweet. A slightly sour sauce complements the meat flavor better.

Step 4

4. Add salt and pepper to taste. On average, the sauce cooks for about 15 minutes.

Step 5

5. When it's ready, mash the berries with a potato masher, then blend them with a blender until smooth. After that, I strain the berries through a sieve, return them to the saucepan, and bring to a boil.

Step 6

6. When the sauce has cooled slightly, it can be served with meat or poultry.
