Sweet milk sauce
Description
Homemade sauce is simple and quick to prepare. Milk-based sauce is a great alternative to store-bought creams, toppings, and syrups. It contains far fewer calories and more benefits, especially if you make it with boiled farm milk. Optionally, you can add a few drops of any flavoring extract. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Instead of milk, you can use low-fat cream, and instead of potato starch, use cornstarch.
- 2
Step 2

Add sugar and starch to a cauldron or a non-stick bottomed pot. By the way, sugar can be replaced with flower honey.
- 3
Step 3

Pour cold milk into the container—specifically cold milk, otherwise the starch will clump in warm liquid, and you'll end up with a lumpy sauce! Mix the contents of the container thoroughly.

Step 4

Place the container on the stove and heat almost to boiling, but do not boil. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting and whisk in the butter. Turn off the heat. Remember, the sauce should not become thick—it's not cream! The sauce will thicken further as it cools, so turn off the heat as soon as you notice the liquid beginning to thicken.

Step 5

Pour the sweet milk sauce into a parfait glass, bowl, or sauce dish, and serve with fresh baked goods.
