Prepare the ingredients.

Peel a large carrot and onion, rinse and chop coarsely.

Clean the fish, rinse it, dry it, and cut into portion-sized pieces.

Prepare two half-liter jars, place some carrots and onion at the bottom, add bay leaf.

Fill the jars with fish, layering with vegetables. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper to taste. Add a spoonful of oil to each jar.

Seal the jars with foil, make a few punctures to let the steam escape. Now place the jars on a baking tray and put them into a cold oven. Turn on the heat and warm up to 180 degrees. Cook the fish for 70 minutes.
