Mackerel in the microwave

And at home, your hungry husband and children are waiting for something delicious—and preferably quick. In such cases, the microwave oven comes to the rescue. And if you happened to buy mackerel on the way, a tasty meal is guaranteed. The recipe for cooking mackerel in the microwave is extremely simple. I highly recommend trying it. 1. I hope your fish has already started thawing during the journey. Clean, wash, and gut it. 2. Cut into small pieces, about 3–4 cm each. 3. Place in a microwave-safe dish, season with salt, pepper, spices, and sprinkle with lemon juice. 4. Cover loosely with a lid or a plate—don't seal tightly—and put it in the microwave. 5. Cook for 10 minutes at 800 watts. Let it stand for a couple more minutes to finish cooking. The fish is ready. I hope you've had time to prepare a light salad by now. :) Serve hot.
