50 min4 serv.20 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The recipe won't take much time. The dish turns out to be diet-friendly and can be served with fresh vegetables or a salad made from them. Alternatively, you can serve it with any sauces, for example, garlic sauce, if you're not on a diet. Pickles, sauerkraut, or pickled cucumbers would also be a nice addition. Serve hot.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Defrost the mackerel if you bought it frozen. Peel the potatoes and rinse them in water.

    Step 3

Cut off the head and tail of the mackerel, split the fish, and remove all the innards. Rinse the fish thoroughly inside and out, and remove the black membrane inside—it is bitter. Rinse again and cut into pieces. Place the pieces on top of the potatoes in the bowl.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Season with salt and pepper, add bay leaves, and pour in warm water. Activate the "Stewing" mode on the device panel for 45 minutes.

  5. 5

    Step 5

After the specified time, both the fish and the vegetable slices will be tender and juicy, perfectly cooked. There's no need to simmer the dish longer, as it may become overcooked.

Place the prepared dish on a plate and serve it hot, optionally accompanied by sour cream or other sauces.
