Grilled mackerel
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Grilled mackerel goes perfectly with any side dish: rice, boiled potatoes, buckwheat, or vegetables. I cooked round rice and stewed carrots and onions in tomato sauce. The meal turned out very tasty. My husband was satisfied. Girls, I highly recommend it. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1
First, clean the fish, remove the guts and gills, rinse it under running water, and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Step 2
Rub the fillet inside with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Place half of the chopped thyme and parsley inside, and arrange lemon slices.
- 3
Step 3
Brush the top half of the fish with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and place on a preheated grill rack, seasoned side down.
- 4
Step 4
Cook the mackerel over medium heat for 5-8 minutes until a golden crust forms. Before turning the fish over, brush it with oil and season with salt and pepper. Carefully flip the fish to the other side to avoid losing the filling and to keep the skin intact.

Step 5
Fry the fish for another 5 minutes until done. When a crispy crust appears, the fish is ready.
