
Rosehip syrup
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This homemade rosehip syrup is simple and quick to prepare. It requires neither too much effort nor too much time. The specified quantity of ingredients yields about one liter of syrup. Serve chilled.

1. First, sort the rose hips. Rinse the berries and remove their stems.

2. Now take 50 ml from the total amount of water, put it on the stove and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, pour it over the rose hips and let them steep for about 10 minutes.

3. Then mash the berries using a pestle and let them sit for another 10 minutes.

4. While the berries are steeping, let's make the syrup. To do this, dissolve the sugar in the remaining amount of water, place the pot with sugar and water over heat, and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.

5. Strain the berry mixture; we only need the liquid.

6. Our syrup is already boiling. Turn off the heat, pour the rosehip decoction into the syrup, and mix immediately.
