1. An essential ingredient of such syrup is honey. You can use any honey available at home. In this case, linden honey is chosen.

2. Despite the use of honey, sugar in the syrup is essential. It is the sugar that allows chak-chak to hold its shape perfectly and be stored for a long time.

3. Combine honey with sugar and place in a small container. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. The syrup should become smooth and liquid.

4. I suggest enhancing the classic chak-chak syrup recipe with an interesting twist. In a separate container, mix a little sugar with "Amaretto" (you can also use another liqueur to taste).

5. Constantly stirring, bring to a boil. The sugar should dissolve completely in the syrup.

6. Two minutes after boiling, when the syrup has become completely homogeneous, pour it into the honey-sugar syrup and mix thoroughly. Cook over low heat for about one more minute, and the original syrup for homemade Chak-chak is ready.
