Cinnabon (delicious buns)
Description
For the cream, it's best to use "Mascarpone," "Philadelphia," or "Almette." When spreading the cream, make sure the buns are sufficiently cool, otherwise the cream will melt and run. To prevent the cream from hardening while the buns are cooling, place it near the oven in a warm spot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Prepare the sponge: place the yeast, one tablespoon of sugar, and warm milk into a deep bowl. Mix well, cover (with a newspaper or plastic bag), and set aside in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
- 2
Step 2
In a separate container, dissolve the starch in water and add the remaining sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved (about 5-8 minutes). Then add the softened butter and mix thoroughly.
- 3
Step 3
Combine the sponge with the mixture of butter and starch. Mix and gradually start adding flour (don't overdo it—the dough should be soft). Knead the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours.

Step 4
Take the risen dough, knead it once more, and roll it out into a flat sheet. Prepare the filling by simply mixing softened butter with sugar and cinnamon. Spread the mixture evenly over the dough. Roll it up tightly, then cut into 3-4 cm pieces.

Step 5
Place the buns on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them well apart (since they will rise in size, to prevent them from sticking together). Let them rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake at 180°C until done, about 25 minutes.

Step 6
Meanwhile, prepare the cream: mix soft butter with cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Remove the buns, let them cool slightly, then spread with the cream.
