Eggplant with vegetables steamed
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Compared to its relatives, synec has larger bones (due to the fish's increased size). Ideally, for this dish it's better to use hake, pollock, or similar boneless sea fish. You can also use ready-made fish fillet and cook it with any vegetables according to your taste. Add salt and spices to taste. I prepared a bland dish, perfect for the "Consolidation" phase, suitable for anyone on the Dukan diet. Serve hot.

Step 1

1. Bream is a freshwater fish, and cooking it is always a pleasure. You can use any fish, but it's better to choose one with fewer bones. Ideally, sea fish works best, but similar varieties are also perfectly suitable. I couldn't resist buying bream and decided to try out my steamer. My mom has been on the Dukan diet for a long time, and this recipe fits perfectly for the "Consolidation" phase. So, take the fish in steaks or fillets. Clean and wash it, then cut into pieces. I cooked it without salt or spices, but you can add them to taste.

Step 2

2. Pour purified water into the steamer bowl, then place the food containers. Put the fish in the first (bottom) container.

Step 3

3. I have two cooking containers, but if you're preparing a single serving, you can place everything in the upper one. The thing is, the liquid still flows into the lower container, so the fish ends up cooking slightly in water. Therefore, either use slightly less water (not the full amount) or place all ingredients in the upper container. Keep in mind that you still need the proper amount of water to generate enough steam for the ingredients to cook fully within the specified time.

Step 4

4. I used frozen vegetables, but I also added fresh potatoes. You can choose vegetables to your taste. I used: potatoes, onion, carrots, tomato, zucchini, squash, Brussels sprouts, white cabbage, asparagus, broccoli, and cauliflower. I placed all the vegetables into the upper container and set the cooking mode for 40 minutes.

Step 5

5. After 25 minutes, I took out the fish because it cooks quickly, while the vegetables were left to finish cooking.

Step 6

6. When the steamer turned off, I removed the vegetables and served them together with the fish.

Step 7

7. We ended up with a very simple, filling, and, most importantly, healthy dish. Steamed eggplant with vegetables can even be served for dinner.
