Sea bass in a pan
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Sea bass is a sea fish easily recognized by its white firm flesh with a slightly sweet taste and few bones. Sea bass can be fried, baked, boiled, stewed, or steamed. It's simple to prepare and known for its numerous health benefits. Perhaps the most important thing when cooking sea bass in a pan is choosing fresh fish. Sea bass is fresh if: the skin is clean and smooth—if it's sticky and seems to stretch, it should be avoided. The fish's eyes should be clear and bright, and the gills should have a pinkish hue. Pan-fried sea bass is an excellent dish for a light dinner and takes no more than 20 minutes to prepare. It's best served with a cold white wine. Good luck! Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the cherries into quarters.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the zucchini lengthwise into 4 or 6 parts. The straighter, the better.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the cleaned fish fillet into two equal parts and make diagonal cuts.
- 4
Step 4

In a small amount of oil, sauté the zucchini over fairly high heat for 3–5 minutes. To make the zucchini more tender, add a little water.
- 5
Step 5

Separately sauté the cherry tomatoes, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6
Step 6

After the cherries are seared on both sides (2-3 minutes each), add the asparagus and sauté for another 3 minutes or so.
- 7
Step 7

Before frying the fish, generously salt the pieces and drizzle with oil! And heat the skillet dry! This is very important! Fry the fish on both sides for 3-4 minutes each.
- 8
Step 8

The fish should be flipped carefully so as not to damage the skin and to keep the pieces intact.
- 9
Step 9

Then we serve the dish and bring it to the table.
