
Swedish meatballs
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. A wonderful dish worth trying. Finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté in half of the butter. Chop the herbs. Mix the ground meat, onion, garlic, egg, herbs, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Knead the mixture well and shape into meatballs. Sear the meatballs, then add flour to the same skillet, pour in the broth, and bring to a boil. Add sour cream and lingonberry sauce. Stir thoroughly. Place the meatballs into the resulting sauce, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving. The dish is ready to be served.

Form small meatballs from the minced meat.

Sauté them in the second half of the butter until golden brown. Then add the flour to the same skillet and pour in the broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
