Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Shuruborki are famous Kazakh dumplings baked with sour cream in the oven. This dish is perfect as a hearty lunch or dinner. Be sure to place the dish in the oven at the very end; it won't work in a microwave—the desired effect won't be achieved. The ready dish can now be served.
Instructions

Step 1

Sift the flour. Add 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well. Make a well in the center and crack the egg into it. Mix the flour with the egg. Don't worry about lumps. Bring water to a boil. Pour the boiling water into the mixture, stirring constantly. You can use a mixer or simply a fork. The goal is for all the flour to absorb the water. Now add 1–2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and knead the dough again. Let it cool slightly, then knead it by hand.

Step 2

Divide the dough into 4 parts, then divide each part into 2. Roll each part into a sausage. Cut the sausage into pieces. Roll each piece into a flat pancake.

Step 3

Prepare the filling. First, blend the onion in a blender into a paste. Then add the chopped chicken fillet. Blend again. The mixture will be too thick. Pour in 3-4 tablespoons of water and add salt and pepper. Blend once more. Use the resulting filling to stuff our dumplings.

Step 4

Pinch the edges of the dumpling to shape it. Form all the dumplings in this way.

Step 5

Boil the snails in salted boiling water. Remove them from the water and place them in a dish for baking. I bake the snails in portions.

Step 6

Take a little broth and add it to the bowl with the dumplings. Pour in the sour cream, add a few pieces of butter, and grate cheese over the top. Spread everything evenly.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the dish in the oven for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese melts. Serve the dish hot!
