Grilled Pike
Description
Pike is cut into pieces, then marinated and placed on a grill rack, evenly seared on both sides. You can also bake the fish in foil for a more diet-friendly version, resulting in tender and juicy fish without a thick crust. You can choose any marinade option; today I'm going classic — lemon juice, salt, herbs, and spices.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Clean the pike, gut it, cut off the head, tail, and remove the fins. Rinse under running water and cut into pieces of desired size. I kept the tail portion for another dish, so I ended up with 4 steaks, each weighing about 200 grams.

Step 3

Add butter, freshly squeezed lemon juice, chopped herbs, salt, and ground pepper to taste to the steaks. Mix well and let the fish marinate for 30 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Place the pike on a greased grill rack.
- 5
Step 5

Cook until golden brown, turning occasionally.

Step 6

The grilled pike is ready. Serve the fish with herbs or your favorite sauces.
